It’s always a shock to the system when you think you’ve conquered a particular personal challenge, only to find that it rears it’s ugly head again!
At first I was mad at myself for not having resolved the issue already. But then a close friend reminded me that we are all learning until the day we die. In fact, if we aren’t growing, we’re actually dying. Clearly I love being alive, so I let myself cry about it and then I took a deep breath and asked myself “what do I really want?”. It helps to focus on what you want rather than on what you don’t want.
Together with my friend, we worked out a few action steps that I could take to move forward. We don’t know if they’ll work, but it’s better than sitting on the fence and acting like a victim… at least I’m giving myself a chance.
This week I learnt that I am always learning and improving… I am a Work In Progress!
